Health or medical insurance in the Philippines is often considered an alternative to HMO. However, these two types of coverage can complement each other, especially when you’re expecting. BPI AIA Future Ready Health insurance plans provide financial support if you ever get sick, need to be hospitalized for a longer period or prepping for the costs of delivering your new bub.
Medical benefit
Future Ready Health lets you use 90% of your policy's value or face amount if you get hospitalized, emergency care, or surgery. You can also use the money to consult a specialist, take medical tests or purchase prescription drugs required for long-term outpatient care.
Hospital income benefit
If you need a more extended hospital stay, Future Ready Health insurance provides a daily allowance for your confinement. For example, your Future Ready Health plan has a value of ₱500,000. You are entitled to a hospital income benefit of ₱1,000* daily for 150 days to help pay for your room and board.
Critical illness coverage
A Future Ready Health plan covers 10 critical illnesses, from heart attack to cancer. Upon diagnosis, you can claim a lump sum cash benefit equal to your policy's face amount. The critical illnesses covered are the following:
- Cancer
- Coma
- End Stage Lung Disease
- Heart Attack
- HIV due to Blood Transfusion and Occupationally Acquired HIV
- Kidney Failure
- Liver Cirrhosis
- Stroke
- Terminal Illness
- Vital Organ Transplant
If you experienced a stroke, terminal illness, or any of the covered critical illnesses, you won't have to worry about making payments or premiums anymore. Your core benefits remain.
