Mosquito-borne illness protection

You’ll receive cash assistance for hospital or home care should you or your beneficiaries get diagnosed with dengue, Japanese encephalitis, Zika virus, Chikungunya virus and severe malaria

Minor illness coverage

You’ll receive cash assistance for hospital or home care should you or your beneficiaries get diagnosed with minor illnesses including typhoid fever, severe cholera and moderate to severe leptospirosis

Comprehensive accident coverage

You’ll receive cash support to fund medical expenses for hospitalizations, injuries and disabilities caused by accidents

Daily hospital income

In case of hospitalization, you’ll receive a cash benefit per day of confinement, depending on your chosen plan

Terms & Conditions

Smart Health Shield Series can only be purchased through a BPI AIA Direct Marketing call.
The policy is yearly renewable up to age 64 for the Principal and adult dependents, and up to age 17 for child dependents.

Smart Health Shield Series is a yearly renewable health and accident insurance plan and is not a deposit product.

Actual terms and conditions are found in the Group Master Policy. In case of conflict, the Policy terms shall prevail.

The financial products of BPI AIA Life Assurance Corporation are not insured by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation and are not guaranteed by the Bank of the Philippine Islands.

Upon receiving the Policy Contract, you may refer to it for the full details on critical illness definitions, exclusions including the pre-existing conditions, and other limitations. If after reading the Policy Contract you decide that this plan is not suitable for your needs, simply return it to BPI AIA within 15 days from the date you or your authorized representative received it, and we will refund total premiums you have paid.
